Got Data? Research Data
Management Best Practices - Tuesday 10/28, 1:00 pm Jackson Library, Room 216,
UNCG
No matter what kind of research you do, your data are key to
your success. We tend to think of numeric data, but research data can take many
different forms, including images, video, sound files, or textual data. Data
management is the process of managing your data before, during, and after a
research project. This ensures that your research is secure, promotes the reuse
of your data by other researchers, and assures compliance with federal
guidelines.
Come to this workshop to learn the best practices of
research data management. All disciplines are welcome to attend. We will
discuss why data management matters and share best practices. The session will
be interactive and geared to the attendees' needs. All are welcome.
