Faculty and staff - Millennial Campus "Open House"

On Oct. 18, there will be an "open house" for faculty and staff to hear presentations about our Millennial Campus vision and provide some input/feedback.  Information about this is in the attached flier.  While we are promoting in Campus Weekly and through other communications, we ask (with the chancellor's support) that you also cascade this to your team and encourage them to stop by and engage, given the strategic importance if this initiative to so many campus constituents.  This is a good additional opportunity to provide some input.

Thank you for your help in sharing.

PubMed updates coming in 2019 - see PubMed Labs for preview

In early 2019, PubMed will be updated. It will look different, have new features, and it will be moved to Amazon Cloud Services.  Library links into PubMed and links from PubMed out to UNCG full text are all supposed to still work fine.

PubMed Labs is a website where new PubMed features are tested and feedback is gathered. It is not the full version of PubMed, but it is the best source that we have for what the new PubMed website will look like.  About PubMed Labs

If you'd like to see a preview of what the new PubMed website will look like, try PubMed Labs.  Give feedback.

FYI, currently the labs website doesn't have links to UNCG full text.  In most cases, you can simply copy the article title and paste it into WorldCat Discovery, the red search box on the libraries home page, in order to get full text or a shortcut to Interlibrary Loan.
