3D Printing Workshop Weds 3/29

Wednesday 3/29/17, the DMC and DACTS will host two 3D Making workshop sessions in the DMC. This workshop is a part of a series of digital design workshops aimed at promoting digital literacy to our faculty and students. In this workshop, participants will work in groups and will:

• be introduced to the concept of 3D design and how the 3D Design Lab in the DMC supports students, staff, and faculty in the creation of 3D projects.
• have the opportunity to try 3D modelling in entry level 3D modelling applications.
• print an object using one of the 3D printers.
• scan objects using the 3D laser scanners.
• use the 3D pen to create objects or decorate printed objects.
