Online students - virtual advisory board or virtual interview participation for a gift card

Hi all,

Sam Harlow, UNCG Libraries' Online Learning Librarian, has asked me to share this invitation -

As an online student or student taking an online course, have you ever wanted to let your university know what you really want and need in your online course experience?  Here is your chance! We are asking students who take online classes or are enrolled in online programs to join a UNCG virtual advisory board or perform an virtual interview to give us your feedback.  While participation is completely voluntary, responses will help us help you. Everyone participating in these online focus group will receive a $10 Barnes & Noble gift card.

The data shared from these advisory groups and virtual meetings will be in aggregate and anonymous form.  Individual responses with identities will only be viewed by the investigators and focus group facilitator on this research and all potential identifiers, including IP address, will not be associated with results.  Data will be stored securely in Webex and Box. Other risks are not greater than those experienced from regular computer use. Benefits include the improvement of UNCG university services and resources available to distance and online students, as well as improved outreach and marketing of new resources.

If you are interested in joining one of these advisory groups, please fill out this form:
Someone from this group will contact you about scheduling times to meet as an advisory group after you fill out this form.

Thank you for your time!

Samantha (Sam) Harlow, UNCG University Libraries
