Undergraduate instructors and students - open call for University Libraries Undergraduate Research Award

University Libraries wants to recognize undergraduate student research skills! We are soliciting submissions for our Undergraduate Research Award, which is given in recognition of an outstanding original paper or project in any media. Successful submissions will demonstrate the ability to locate, select and synthesize information from scholarly resources. And, the winning entry will receive a $500 cash prize funded by the University Libraries!

Students may be nominated by a UNCG teaching faculty member or submit his/her own project along with a letter from the supporting faculty member.
  • Subissions are open to all undergraduate students.
  • Any paper or project completed by an undergraduate in the Spring, Summer or Fall semesters of 2017 is eligible.
  • Applicants must be enrolled at UNCG in the Spring 2018 semester.

If your students have turned in excellent research assignments, we urge you to nominate them for this award! Applications are due on March 23, 2018. Full details are available at:
